MISSION STATEMENT
North Jersey Media Group will enhance its position as the premiere provider of local news, information, and entertainment vital to North Jersey, and will provide undisputed value to its advertisers and customers.
We will reach this objective by focusing on three key strengths - our ability to provide indispensable news and information, our keen understanding of our local communities, and our delivery of superior customer service. At our core will be the basic principles of independence of voice and action coupled with integrity of product, performance, and action.
North Jersey Media Group is committed, fully and equally, to the following values that govern our business conduct:
- Remaining an independent, family-owned publishing company which pursues the highest standards of integrity in our print and electronic products, independent of any social, financial, or political pressure.
- Improving the quality of our products -- measured by customer acceptance, penetration, and public service -- and meeting marketplace needs by providing new print and electronic products and services.
- Maximizing our long-term profitability and securing our future by developing our human resources, investing in new equipment and technologies, encouraging innovation and new ways to do our jobs more efficiently and productively, and extending our geographic reach.
- Offering equal opportunity for everyone to succeed in a participative environment where free and open communications, new ideas, risk-taking, teamwork, respect for our differences, and unique individual contributions are encouraged and rewarded.
